The Pazyryk Rug Company was established in 1987 by Rob Sinclair-Thomson. Previously based in Christchurch, Rob has sold thousands of top quality imported Persian rugs, kilims, saddlebags, pillows and footstools to clients and businesses around New Zealand, Europe, and Australasia for more than 25 years.
Widely regarded as an authority on Persian rugs, Rob has established valuable contacts in the Middle East during many trips abroad. His knowledge and expertise, coupled with his wife Serena's passion for colour and visual creativity, ensures that every customer - whether a first time buyer or seasoned Persian rug enthusiast gets just what they are wanting at Pazyryk - where prices start from $45 for colourful hand woven cushions, to more valuable investment pieces such as Baluchis, Bokharas, Turkomans, Kurdish or Caucasians and many more.
